Dr. Lazcano obtained his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Mexico. He completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baptist Memorial Hospital System in San Antonio, Texas and Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas as well as a fellowship in Hematopathology and Immunohistochemistry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Lazcano has over 19 years experience as a practicing pathologist in multiple moderate-size hospitals, serving on hospital-wide committees at several affiliated Texas hospitals.
He is a member of various organizations including the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists, Alliance Health Providers of Brazos Valley, Inc and Brazos Valley Physicians Organization. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station, Texas. Dr. Lazcano currently serves as medical director and Chairman of the Pathology Department at The Physicians Centre in Bryan, Texas and College Station Medical Center in College Station, Texas.
